FRAUEN UND LEBEN
A programme that explores the lives of women and their portrial in music, in the past and in the
present, through two different centuries: Germany in the 19th century, with the most famous couple in the music world of that century (Clara and Robert Schumann); and the United States from the late 20th century to the present day, a place where many artists during the war found refuge and still today
plays a central role in the production of new music. The programme includes composers of both sexes, well-known and lesser-known works, a programme under the banner of integration and gender diversity.
