A new concert series dedicated exclusively to classical music composed by women, from the past to the present. A place for curious minds to listen to new music, discover new stories, reflect on what can yet be learnt from history and from stories that are still untold. Each concert will be paired with womxn artisans working in other diverse industries (such as winemaking, painting, poetry, design, sculpture) to create a space to celebrate those who, quite simply, create amazing quality.

#1: PARIS.
"At night I would climb the steps to the Sacre-Coeur, and I would watch Paris, that futile oasis, scintillating in the wilderness of space. I would weep, because it was so beautiful, and because it was so useless." — Simone de Beauvoir (1908-1986)
PARIS: a groundbreaking and forward thinking city throughout modern and musical history; a place that cultivated some impressive and interesting composers of the female sex. PARIS takes the centre role for the premiere concert of this new series, with repertoire by composers Mel Bonis, Cécile Chaminade, and Marie Trautmann-Jaëll performed by flautist Rachel Susser and pianist Lucia Brighenti.
This performance will also showcase a special selection of wines from women winemakers. Just as in the music world, the names and stories of women winemakers are still to be discovered in viticulture circles - be it professional or public.
Tickets include a glass of wine. More wine can be purchased on site.
